Anaheim First and our consultant team, PlaceWorks and Arrellano Associates, recently completed five of the six district-based Town Halls supporting the Anaheim Community Assessment. Last Wednesday, September 25, the District 5 Town Hall was held at the Calvary Baptist Church with more than 80 residents and community volunteers actively engaged in the program throughout the night.

 

 

District 5 Council Member Steve Faessel opened the program and thanked residents for their involvement in the assessment. PlaceWorks and Arellano Associates facilitated the rest of the meeting by discussing an overview of the assessment process following with a working group exercise. The goal of the group exercise is for residents to discuss the improvements they wish to see in their neighborhood and prioritize them by the level of importance and value to them.
